It’s been a year since private members wine club 67 Pall Mall Singapore first swung open its doors. It did so with great pazazz and quickly made its mark as the place to be for oenophiles not just in the city-state, but throughout the region as well.
Now, the club is a year old, and as a way to say thanks to its members (at the same time bring its fine wine experience outside the four walls of its penthouse venue), threw a lush garden-themed party at the iconic Gardens by the Bay on March 4, 2023.

The birthday bash took over the beautiful Floral Fantasy space and its immediate surroundings. Inside the meandering attraction itself, 67 Pall Mall held a wine expedition, where guests followed the verdant trail while sipping on seven different wines along the way.
In the alfresco space right outside, a festival market offering hawker-style food and wines by the glass and bottle was set up. While guests sipped and nibbled, live entertainment serenaded them with spirited tunes.

Looking ahead for 2023, Master of Wine Richard Hemming, who is the Head of Wine Asia for 67 Pall Mall, is planning for another year of events and masterclasses to keep members satiated.
Already on the calendar are visits by wine experts such as fellow MW Jasper Morris, bringing his insights into Burgundy to Singapore’s shores. Winemakers such as Laurent Ponsot and Laura Catena are also in the line up.

Beyond the excellent programming, members simply enjoy the variety and breadth of wines (over 5,000 different labels, with 1,000 offered by the glass) being made available at reasonable prices.
We can already tell it’ll be another great year ahead for the club. For more information on 67 Pall Mall and how to join, check out our feature on their opening here.
