Fans of the annual Bavarian celebration of all-things beer, get ready your pint glasses for a rousing gathering filled with food and libations this month of October.
Taking place from Oct 6-15 at the open-air plaza area of Paya Leber Quarter is Oktobeerfest, a beer-filled event organised by the mall in partnership with event curators Invade.
Open to all to join in the festivities, expect beer brands the likes of Brewlander, Hoegarden, Chang, and more to be available. There are other alcoholic beverages too, such as sour plum vodka by local brand Clumzy Plumzy, or refreshing hard seltzers by Jiggy.

Not just about the drinks, lots of food vendors will also be on-site. Dig into Oktoberfest-appropriate eats from vendors like Wursthans Switzerland and Super Sub, or indulge in a range of comforting Western and Japanese eats at The Providore and Gyushi.
While feasting and drinking, look out for the local live bands – the likes of CurryPop and Toughnutsings – that will be performing live on stage from Fridays to Sundays starting at 7pm.
There’s also a game of Life-Sized Beer Pong you can play. Simply dine at Paya Leber Quarter venues such as Rempapa, Poke Theory, and Chug Chug, among others, and you’ll be given a game card to grant you access.
For more information, head to the festival’s website. Oktobeerfest 2023 takes place Oct 6-15 at Paya Lebar Quarter’s outdoor plaza space, daily from 5pm-10pm.
