Europe’s leading bar and beverage trade event, Bar Convent Berlin (BCB), is organising its very first Asia edition with Bar Convent Singapore (BCB Singapore), set to be held at the Pasir Panjang Power Station from Nov 6-7, 2023.
Over 3000 members of the bar and alcohol trade in Southeast Asia are expected to descend upon Singapore for this inaugural event. And with the sizable venue, a large contingent of over 150 spirits, mixers, technology, and equipment brands have been confirmed to be exhibiting as well.
From heavyweights the likes of Brown-Forman and Remy Cointreau, to artisanal purveyors such as Proof & Company, as well as craft mixer brands Fever-Tree and East Imperial, among many others, attendees can expect plenty to see and taste throughout the two days.

Educational segments, seminars, and panel discussions on topics including innovation, sustainability, wellness, leadership, skills, consumer trends, and more will be a key focus too.
On the speaker’s list are renowned names like Beckaly Franks (co-owner of The Pontiac and founder of Hungry Ghost), Monica Berg (co-owner of Tayer + Elementary and creative director of Campari Academy), and Peter Chua (director of Composed Concepts and co-owner of Night Hawk).
Chua in particular has been tapped to curate the content segment. “BCB is undoubtedly the most well executed and biggest bar convention in Europe,” he says.
“It has been a haven for enthusiastic F&B professionals to mingle with other like minded individuals and brands small and large for quite a few years now. Having been to the 2022 show, I am extremely excited and proud to have BCB grace our little island country.”

In addition, BCB Singapore, in partnership with International Beverage Competitions Group (IBC), had hosted the 6th edition of its Asia International Spirits Competition (AISC), Asia International Wine Competition (AIWC) and Asia International Beer Competition (AIBC) in September. The winners will be announced and showcased during an awards ceremony held live at Pasir Panjang Power Station.
Beyond the four walls of the show, expect a stellar lineup of guest shifts, bar takeovers, and masterclass to be taking place at venues across town, including at Manhattan, Smoke & Mirrors, and 28 HongKong Street.
Remarks Henry Stonham, senior project manager of BCB Singapore: “BCB Singapore is the first event of its kind dedicated to Asia’s bar and beverage industry, promising to deliver a curated schedule of educational sessions and networking opportunities, a rich array of leading and emerging craft brands, and a whole wealth of knowledge and expert insights, all within one single venue.”
Tickets to BCB Singapore can be purchased on their website, with prices starting from S$60 for a single ticket.
