The stage is set for the return of the second edition of Fruits of the Vine, a festival slowly but surely making its mark on Singapore’s wine calendar. Happening on 27 January, 2024, the wine-filled affair will be taking place at brand spanking new The Singapore EDITION Hotel.
Following a successful inauguration in 2023, this year’s extravaganza promises greater immersion into the world of wines, boasting an assembly of over 100 brands and over 400 labels sourced from the far reaches of the globe.
There are several ways to experience the 1-day festival. The Grand Walkabout ticket is the simplest way to do so. It includes unlimited tastings with access to over 200 wine labels hailing from diverse regions worldwide, including premium labels from Château de Beaucastel, Troplong Mondot, 00 Wines, Tenuta San Guido, Cos d’Estournel, Giacomo Conterno, Frescobaldi and many more.
For those seeking a more intimate foray, the VIP Grand Walkabout is the way to go. VIP ticket holders get early access from 11am-12.30pm, ensuring a headstart to the tasting and more time to chat with the winemakers before regular access guests come in. Certain bottlings are also exclusive to VIP guests only.
Masterclasses will also be held throughout the day. These sessions, hosted by leading wine experts, are designed to ignite paths of discovery and foster an enhanced appreciation for the finest wines globally. Renowned personalities from the wine industry including Chong Wai Keng, Thibault Jacquet, Alexander Van Beek, Mason Ng, and Lucas Liu will helm these Masterclasses.
The Sine Qua Non Q.E.D. is one to look out for. The masterclass – led by wine luminary and Park90’s Wine Director, Mason Ng – will focus on the craftsmanship of California’s renowned winemakers. Other sessions include ones exploring Dom Pérignon’s timeless style, and a deep dive into Bordeaux’s viticultural heritage.
