Luxury blended Scotch brand Johnnie Walker Blue Label has released a new permanent edition to their travel retail offerings, the Xordinaire.
Named due to the expression undergoing finishing in former French XO cognac casks, the Johnnie Walker Blue Label Xordinaire is an all-new blend created using only 1 in every 10,000 casks from Johnnie Walker’s reserves of aged Scotch.
The Asia Pacific launch took place at Singapore’s Changi Airport, where key stakeholders and the media got to taste the new expression while exploring a Parisian hotel inspired experiential pop-up happening airside at Terminal 1.

At the pop-up, travellers can enter an ‘elevator’ for an audiovisual experience of the world of the new Johnnie Walker Blue Label Xordinaire. Then, head over to the sample bar, where one can then taste the liquid while pairing them with bespoke chocolates created by renowned French chocolatier Arnaud Larher and Johnnie Walker.
“This is a luxurious and vibrant Scotch bursting with notes of dried fruit, toasted toffee and sun-ripened black cherry,” comments Emma Walker, Johnnie Walker’s Master Blender, about the new expression.

“Bright orchard fruits shine through velvety smoothness, with flashes of peach and soft spice surging upward. A sumptuously smooth Scotch with a soft spice after-taste, Johnnie Walker Blue Label Xordinaire truly is an exuberance to be shared.”
If purchasing a bottle at the pop-up, be sure to make full use of the gifting and personalisation options – such as a customisable luggage tag and an embossing station – that is being offered only during the activation period.
Johnnie Walker Blue Label Xordinaire, bottled at 40% ABV, is available at Changi Airport at a recommended retail price of S$535 for a 1L bottle.
