Having enjoyed successful launches in other parts of the world, non-alcoholic spirits brand Lyre’s has now introduced its range of ready-to-drink (RTD) canned cocktails to the Asian market.
Now available in Singapore and Hong Kong, the range includes three flavours: G&T, Amalfi Spritz, and Classico. Like the non-alcoholic spirits Lyre’s is best known for, their alcohol-free RTDs are meant to mimic the expression of an alcoholic counterpart.
As apparent in its name, the G&T recreates the experience of a gin and tonic, offering notes of juniper, citrus and quinine in a convenient can. The Amalfi Spritz, meanwhile, seeks to invoke Italian holiday vibes by showcasing refreshing bittersweet orange tones as found in an Aperol Spritz.
Meanwhile, the Classico is their take on Prosecco. Crisp, dry and fresh, the sparkling wine equivalent can also be used as a mixer. Combine Lyre’s Italian Spritz (their take on Aperol) with the Classico, and you’ve got a 0% ABV drink that stays remarkably close to the classic Aperol Spritz recipe.
Other RTD flavours in their lineup, though not currently available in Asia, include the American Malt & Cola (their take on Jack & Coke) and the Dark & Spicy (their take on the Dark & Stormy).
The non-alcoholic spirits used in the making of the RTDs come from their core alcohol-free spirits range, which now features 13 products that pay homage to spirits like whisky, rum, gin and more.
Commenting on the alcohol-free RTD trend, said Mark Livings, co-founder of Lyre’s: “The ready-to-drink range has been created to give everyone the freedom to enjoy their drink their way, without the booze.
“The new pre-mixed Lyre’s non-alcoholic cocktails are perfect for gatherings and to be enjoyed at the beach, park, on a boat or wherever the summer adventure takes you.”

The canned cocktails are also being positioned as low-calorie, healthier alternatives for drinkers. Or for when the situation calls for an adult, but non boozy beverage, such as during ‘dry’ months and daytime drinking.
Lyre’s cocktails are available in 250ml cans, with single (RRP S$6.50), four-pack and case formats available. In Singapore, Lyre’s can be found at selected Cold Storage supermarkets and on their own online webstore.
