From the folks behind Park90, comes new wine festival Fruits of the Vine

Fruits of the Vine festival

Prominent wine purveyors Wine Portal, the same people who run a gamut of vino related brands such as Park90 and Grand Cru Wine Concierge, are set to kick start 2023 with a bang thanks to the debut of their very own wine festival.

Happening the first weekend of 2023 on Jan 8, the inaugural Fruits of the Vine will see more than 100 different brands carrying over 400 labels gather at the Four Seasons Hotel Singapore for a 1-day grand walkabout showcasing wine brands the likes of 00 Wines, Champagne Savart, Realms Cellar, and more.

During the walkabout, attendees will get to taste selected wines while getting the chance to chat directly with winemakers and local representatives. Throughout the day, there will also be six 1-hour masterclasses going on for those who desire even greater insight into the world of wines.

Topics and themes covered in the masterclasses include the likes of “Iconic French Grapes Around the World”, a deep dive into French varietals; and “The World Class Wine from a Mystical Place”, a showcase of highly acclaimed Chinese wine estate Ao Yun; among others.

Experts conducting these classes include familiar names such as California-based Master of Wine Lisa Perrotti-Brown, director of famed Super Tuscan purveyor Poggio Argentiera, Giovanni Frascella, and even Singapore’s own renowned sommelier Mason Ng.

As to why Wine Portal is now deciding to launch their own wine festival, CEO Tracy Koo says: “The wine community is thirsty for new experiences and new tastes, and we saw the opportunity to bring back in-person wine events once crowd restrictions were fully lifted in October.

“Fruits of the Vine represents our continuing effort to grow our wine community and bring even more excitement to Singapore.”

Recently, the company has also newly opened Tenuta by Park90 at the InterContinental Singapore, an offshoot of their flagship wine lounge with a focus on wines from Italy.

Details and tickets to Fruits of the Vine can be found on their website. The 1-day event will take place on 8 Jan, 2023, at the Four Seasons Hotel Singapore, Level 2 Ballroom.
