Iconic restaurant and bar venues around town such as 1-Arden, Botanico, The Alkaff Mansion and more are shaking things up with a month-long celebration of all-things cocktails taking place from now through March 26.
Organised by F&B stalwarts 1-Group, this second annual edition of Sip & Savour will see a plethora of happenings – from guest shifts to pairing dinners – coming to all 8 of the group’s multi-concept locales.
Top on our priority list are the guest shifts, where local veterans such as Sam Wong and Din Hassan, plus overseas bartenders from Thailand and Malaysia (the likes of Jane Kaew-yod and David Hans) will offer up their coveted cocktails at the group’s bars.
Then there are the cocktail brunches and pairing dinners. We have our eyes especially set on the Whisky & Cocktail Dinner happening at 1-Atico’s FIRE, where a Japanese-Peruvian and Argentinian degustation menu paired with glasses of whiskies and cocktails await.
Of course, whichever 1-Group venue you choose to visit, there’s bound to be a Sip & Savour exclusive cocktail done by their in-house bartenders you can try. At the group’s newest opening, 1-Altitude Coast, a tiki-inspired cocktail named Aurelius, made using absinthe and tropical fruits and spices, will be available.
Whatever you do, be sure to mark your calendars for the final Sip & Savour Closing Grill-out Party taking place at The Summerhouse. Expect live performances, rotating guest bartenders, and an open-air barbeque set against the lush backdrop of the beautiful estate.
