Environmentally-conscious champagne brand Telmont, in collaboration with award-winning restaurant and bar Tippling Club, is stepping up its presence in Singapore by offering an experiential pairing menu at the newly opened Tippling Terrace alfresco space.
Situated along the five foot ways right outside the Tippling Club, the Tippling Terrace is a green extension of both brands, espousing the values of sustainability and gourmet-mindedness they both have in common.
You’ll find aspects that point towards eco-consciousness in the decor, such as the upcycling of used champagne bottles into overhanging lamps, and the retrofitting of the outdoor dining tables in a way that allows condensation from champagne buckets to seep into plant pots in order to water them.
The food and drink itself will have you enjoying a glass each of the Telmont Réserve Brut, Telmont Réserve Rosé, and the Telmont Vinothèque 2012 (exclusive to Tippling Club) paired with a five-snack menu curated by the Tippling Club chefs.
Expect the snacks to be decadent, modern works of culinary art. The nori papadum with cured hamachi, for instance, has the Japanese amberjack laid nicely atop the cracker, meant to be eaten in one or two bites, and enjoyed while sipping on Telmont’s vintage bubbly.
The Tippling Terrace makes for a great pre-dinner drinks and bites spot, before you open the evening up to mains and perhaps even more tipples inside Tippling Club itself, or anywhere else along the stretch of charming shophouses neighbouring the venue.
The Telmont champagne flight and five-snack pairing menu is available at the Tippling Terrace for S$130 per person. Reservations and details are available on their website.
Tippling Terrace is located at 38 Tanjong Pagar Road, Singapore 088461.
