The House of Suntory is highlighting its Roku Gin and Haku Vodka products in a big way this month of June by collaborating with 11 restaurants and bars across Singapore for a spirited celebration.
Coinciding with World Martini Day on June 17, the partner establishments will each be concocting three drinks – two gin-based, one vodka-based – that showcases the identity of the venue while also giving a nod to the most revered of classics, the martini.
From June 1-30, all-time favourite watering holes like Tess Bar & Kitchen and Anti:Dote, as well as popular new places such as Ginger Lily and Las Palmas, will all be coming up with their own three renditions of the martini using Roku Gin and Haku Vodka.

We’re definitely making a beeline to Catfish, where the highly unconventional Salmon Saketini (S$25; see main image) awaits. Made using Roku Gin, a junmai sake, bianco vermouth, plus fresh salmon and soy wasabi, this daring tipple stands out as one of the most unique creations in the lineup.
Then there’s the uber dirty Gherkin-Tini (S$25) found at bayfront hotspot VUE. Eschewing the usual olive garnish, this rendition switches out for gherkins and capers instead, resulting in a gin martini heavy with brine that’s sure to please the adventurous dirty martini lovers out there.

For bold and complex flavours, Lumo is your best bet. In the crisp and potent Clarity (S$23) for instance, there’s all the good stuff like Green Chartreuse, grappa, falernum, and whisky-barrel-aged bitters in the mix. We expect nothing less from this South Bridge Road haunt.
There are lots more martini variations to try this World Martini Day. For a full list of participating venues, see below:
