If you enjoyed last year’s debut edition of Brewnanza Fest, mark your calendars down for the return of the craft beer festival, which promises to be bigger and better than before.
The largest of its kind in Singapore, Brewnanza Fest 2024 will be taking place 22-25 August this year, returning to Marina Bay Sands as its venue. But instead of being held at an outdoor space, the festival will be held indoors this time around, taking over Hall E at the Marina Bay Sands Expo & Convention Center.
The shift in location means a comfortable air-conditioned space without worry about the heat nor rain. While admittedly that means less of a festival vibe, we think the trade-off is worth it given the weather these days.

The main draw of the festival remains the craft beers themselves. Many of the brands appearing at the festival can’t be found anywhere else in Singapore, and some are even making their way to our shores for the very first time.
Most exciting in the lineup of over 100 labels available this year has got to be the ones from Uchu Brewing. The cult favourite from Yamanashi prefecture has been hailed the best craft beer in Japan by some, with stocks almost always depleting instantly the moment they drop. We’ll be sure to make a beeline to their booth at Brewnanza Fest.
Making their first appearance at Brewnanza this year as well are New Zealand’s Garage Project. Most any craft beer fan will know of them already, but it’s always nice to crack open one of their offbeat limited edition brews and be amazed all over again.
We’re looking forward to the arrival of South Korea’s Gorilla Brewing too. The Busan-based brewery is where locals and tourists alike flock to for great beers, nosh and entertainment when in the city. We sure hope they are bringing some of their sought-after collab brews to Singapore for us.

Another highlight for us is the contingent of local breweries. Alongside festival organisers Brewlander, the likes of Alive Brewing, Brewerkz, Sunbird, and festival first-timers Hello Ren Min will be making a showing. Where else will we be able to enjoy locally-inspired beers if not from them?
Those wanting to quench their thirst on other forms of libations can head to Draftland for cocktails on tap. The Taiwanese concept brought to Singapore in partnership with local heroes Nutmeg & Clove will be serving both thirst-quenching and hard-hitting tipples to satisfy whatever you’re in the mood for.
There will be food too, just in case you get the munchies while drinking. Names like 29 Pioneer Roast Meat, Honbo, and Papi’s Tacos will be dishing out their brand of juicy roast meats, gourmet burgers, and flavour-bursting tacos respectively.

To keep you entertained, there will once again be live performances. Hunger Tanks will be making a return from last year’s festival due to popular demand, while indie rock band Count Vernon will be among the slate of local bands taking the stage.
In-between sets and chugs, activities and games like beer pong, darts, giant jenga, shuffleboard, and more will be available to while away the time. Or if you’re looking for more insights into craft beers, look out for the masterclasses led by industry experts and brewers.
